Stracchino is a typical cheese of the Lombard plain.

It owes its name to the use of the milk of “Stracc” (tired) cows that once returned to the plains when they returned from the mountain pastures after long transhumances. Creamy, aromatic, soft, spreadable, a true classic of the Lombard dairy tradition.
