The “Bella di Cerignola” olives, fleshy, crunchy, with the typical sweet and savoury taste, are the most famous. Among the olive varieties of Puglia, they are the most popular among table olives. They are particularly large and therefore are very suitable for an aperitif. The sun and the wonderful climate of Puglia give these olives their characteristic sweet flavour, which goes very well with a tasting of very tasty cheeses and with bitter-tasting aperitifs, such as a spritz with Campari, for example.

They are exceptional with croutons with goat cheese, precisely because the sweetness of the olive contrasts with the acid and strong taste of the goat cheese: we therefore recommend preparing a nice platter of mixed cheeses, with spicy and strong flavours and putting two nice bowls of our whole Bella di Cerignola olives, together with a fresh Hugo with ice.
